Another week, another new music roundup. We’re starting off this week  with news of the new EP from Momotaro, who have been fairly quiet for the last few years. The new EP is called Places and is out on 5th May, and the first track from it that they’ve shared is the lovely Gone Days.

Next up, another longtime favourite of Brighton’s electronic music work, Foreign Skin, has shared her remix of Luo‘s track Lucid Dream:

Yumi & The Weather have put up the B-side to their upcoming single Distant Days, a track called In The Night. The single is out on the 12th May, but there’s a launch party at the Hope & Ruin on Monday 8th.

The New Faith‘s first proper single comes out on 2nd June and is called To Sad To Be Young. The video features nudity, although it has been pixelated to get past YouTub’s restrictions. There’s a pre-release gig for the single this Saturday at the Prince Albert.

Black Biro are a new Brighton band made up of members of older Brighton bands, who descibre their sound as Gothadelia. Thye’ve posted up a few demos on Soundcloud and you can hear A Door above My Name below, and they play their first ever gig at the Prince Albert this Saturday on at 8.30:

Orchards new track is called Darling, which marries their familiar guitar sounds with 80s synths. You can see Orchards live this weekend at the Bad Pond Festival, alongside the likes of Luo, TEEFF, Patchwork Natives, and a whole load of other bands

It was only in our last new music post that we shared a new GAPS track, but they’re already back with a second new track this month. Much like Shatter, The View showcases GAPS’ more electronic side:

OMG it’s a new Fond of Rudy track. Sorry – weak joke, but I couldn’t resist. OMG is the name of the band’s new single, out now. You can catch them at Patterns on 3rd May supporting Cassia.

Sulky Boy have only just come onto our radar even though they’ve been going for a while now. They’ve got a new EP out tomorrow on Echochamp called Sulky Boys Play Songs of Love, and you can hear Drunk Dial taken from it here:

Finally, the new single from Atlas Wynd comes out this weekend according to the mailout I got earlier from Resident. Mona Lisa is out on 7″ backed by I’ve Had Enough. Unfortunately we missed telling you about the launch, which was last night at Sticky Mikes. Oops.
